Magnet application

Two important characteristics of different magnets materials—intrinsic coercivity (iHc, or internal coercive force) and remanence (Br) are used as the two axes to describe the relative positioning of various magnet properties. These two capabilities are closely connected to the magnet application fields corresponding to various magnetic materials.

Intrinsic coercivity represents the ability to resist external magnetic fields.

Remanence(Br) is the magnetic strength retained by the permanent magnet itself.
